The Story Behind This Site
The concept of the White Crow sprang from humorous stories, poems, and songs I created off the top of my head to entertain my son when he was a youngster. When he grew older and developed an interest in computers, we created the first White Crow Poetry site. Unfortunately, it was mistaken for a white supremacy domain before we could post anything and was disbanded. Several more sites followed, showcasing my writing, but none were interactive. Around this same time, I began to write with various partners in addition to writing alone, and the White Crow Group was formed~originally to voice a poetic concern for the environment. This site was designed, as was White Crow Poetry Exchange-Forums, to further the reach and knowledge of aspiring poets, lyricists, and writers. I believe interactive forums that can connect these people are a great way to do this.
